Education and Training
Lectures and training courses on biodiversity
“You can only protect what you know”, but unfortunately knowledge of native biodiversity continues to decline. In kindergartens, schools and universities, less and less emphasis is being placed on education in the field of species knowledge. We want to counteract this trend and offer various training courses in the field of native species diversity, biodiversity and ecology.
The topics listed are only suggestions and can of course be adapted according to the audience (from specialised scientific personnel to a general introduction to the topic). Of course, other topics are also conceivable, which we will be happy to develop according to your wishes.
There are lectures and training courses on the following topics
- Learn to appreciate and recognise native biodiversity
- Butterfly ecology
- The unknown world of moths
- Bringing nature to life (field experiments for everyone)
- Recognising protected species
- The ecological garden
- ‘Don’t trust statistics…’ – What’s behind biological studies
- Ecological consumer behaviour
- Fantastic studies and where to find them
